Request for Expression of Interest - Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance

The St. Vital Business Improvement Zone invites interested companies to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the provision of the services described below. The purpose of the REOI is to identify companies that wish to participate in a forthcoming solicitation process.

Description: 

Landscaping and grounds maintenance services for St. Vital BIZ. The contract period contemplated is for a one year term with possible extensions of 2 additional years. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to:
● Replacement of topsoil in all planters and beds in the zone;
● Planting of pre-arranged plants to strict specifications/standards;
● Adjusting of planters and installation/removal of baskets in the zone;
● Ongoing watering (minimum 3 times/week) to strict specifications/standards and maintenance of flower areas, mowing if needed, and edging;
● Removal of litter and debris from turf, planters, beds, fence lines, and street sidewalks/curbs;
● Pruning of trees and shrubs;
● Application of chemical agents for control of weeds, plant disease, and insects;
● Replacement of plant materials.

Deadline for Submission of EOI:

January 31, 2025 at 4:30 CST

Content of EOI:

The EOI should include the following information:
● Brief presentation of company including number of staff and years in business
● Contact information: full name and address, telephone number, email address, website and contact person
● Reference list of similar experience or examples of projects demonstrating qualifications for participating in an upcoming solicitation process.
Note: Prices are not required at this stage.

REOI Conditions: 

This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The Old St. Vital BIZ reserves the right to change or cancel the EOI at any time during the EOI and/or subsequent solicitation process. Old St. Vital Biz also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation documents. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
